SK enpulse , which has been leading the localization of semiconductor core material parts in Korea, integrated its separate semiconductor-related business by adding its business experience of more than 30 years and its Technology in localizing cutting-edge materials from a global monopoly.

SK enpulse will grow into global No.1 semiconductor ESG solution company by contributing to increasing customer value by creating a new trend in the semiconductor material, parts and equipment industry.

Absolics was established in November 2021 and is leading glass-based semiconductor packaging technology for high-performance computing businesses. To provide innovative solutions to key customers around the world, Absolics is building a production facility in Georgia, the United States, and will deliver the product from 2024.

SK TBMGEOSTONE

SK TBMGEOSTONE is the joint venture incorporated by SKC and TBM of Japan in September, 2021, specialized in producing eco-friendly materials to support the preservation of mother nature and foster the sustainable development of mankind. The company has developed, by combining biodegradable resin and limestone, a new material that can deliver properties as required by customers drastically reducing plastic waste and carbon footprint at the same time. Starting off with investments in mass production capacity in 2023, SK TBMGEOSTONE sets off on its journey of growth into becoming a global eco-friendly material manufacturer.

SK nexilis

Ever since we began producing copper foil - a core material for secondary batteries - in 1996, SK nexilis has tirelessly pursued technological development and now boasts world-class technological competitiveness in the copper foil and FCCL sectors.

In January 2020, SKC finalized the acquisition of KCFT(currently SK nexilis) as a new subsidiary which will serve as a future growth engine of our Rechargeable battery business.

SK picglobal

SKC picglobal is a joint venture established by SKC and PIC of Kuwait in February 2020 by splitting off of the chemical business division of SKC, with the aim of expanding its chemical business into global markets. SK picglobal is set to take a giant leap forward to become a world-class manufacturer of propylene oxide (PO) and propylene glycol (PG).
